HOMEAID MISSION: To build dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. WHO WE ARE: HomeAid is the largest nationwide provider of transitional housing in America. Established in 1999, HomeAid Northern California, a non-profit organization supported by the Home Builders Association of Northern California, was established to build or renovate shelters for temporarily homeless individuals, or families. Owned and operated by non-profit care providers, these shelters typically include counseling and job training as core components of their programs – ultimately offering “a hand up, not a hand out.” HomeAid Northern California Successes - More than $5,000,000 in donations and in-kind contributions to date
